Organiser: Arioron, Dhaka, Bangladesh Event dates: 18 and 19 December 2026, fully online Official website: think.arioron.com Official inquiries: inquiry@arioron.com
These policies summarise the full terms in the ARIORON THINK 2026 Terms and Policies document.
1. Eligibility
- The competition is open only to students in Bangladesh.
- Arioron may ask for proof of student status and may cancel any registration that does not meet this requirement.
2. Registration
- Registration opens at 00:00 on 10 November 2026 and closes at midnight on 12 December 2026 (Asia/Dhaka time).
- Each participant registers once, choosing either the individual option or the team option.
- A registration is complete only when the payment has been verified and the confirmation message has been sent.
- Participants enter the name of the Campus Ambassador who introduced them. This field is required.
3. Fees and Payment
- Fees depend on the registration period (early bird, regular or late bird) and on the registration type (individual or team). The current fees are on think.arioron.com.
- Early bird runs from 10 to 24 November 2026. Regular runs from 25 November to 7 December 2026. Late bird runs from 8 to 12 December 2026. Each period ends at midnight on its last day.
- The fee that applies is the one in force on the date the payment is made.
- Individual fees are BDT 400 (early bird), BDT 500 (regular) and BDT 600 (late bird).
- Team fees are BDT 50 lower per paid member: BDT 350, 450 and 550.
- A team of four pays for three members. The fourth member is free.
- All payments are made through bKash Send Money to the official Arioron number, which is shown on the registration form. The payer enters the bKash transaction ID on the registration form.
- Arioron never asks for a PIN, OTP or password. Campus Ambassadors, club partners and volunteers never collect payments.
4. Refunds
- Registration fees are non-refundable once a registration is confirmed.
- Refunds are given for: a duplicate payment; a payment that was made but produced no registration because of an error on Arioron’s side; and a cancelled competition.
- Refunds go to the bKash number that made the payment, within 14 working days of approval.
- If a payment is short, the registration is held until the balance is paid before the deadline. If a payment is over, the difference is refunded.
- Removing a member from a team after payment does not reduce the team fee.
- To request a refund or raise a dispute, email inquiry@arioron.com within seven days, with the transaction ID and registration name.
5. Teams
- A team has up to four members.
- One person creates the team and becomes its leader. Other participants may join an existing team.
- The leader enters the team name and the details of each member.
- The leader confirms that every member has agreed to be registered.
- Team members may change only through the team change process, before the cut-off date that Arioron will announce.
- Each team member’s email address and phone number must be different from the others on the same team.
6. Campus Ambassadors
- A Campus Ambassador is credited for a registration only when the participant enters the CA’s name on the form.
- Arioron decides referral credit from the registration data, and its records are final.
- CAs must not state or estimate fees, prizes, or rules that have not been officially published.
- CAs must not collect, hold or forward registration money, and must not ask students to pay them.
- CAs are not paid. Their benefits are a certificate for everyone, and the Best Campus Ambassador award, with the details to be announced.
7. Competition Conduct
- Participants must act honestly and respectfully at all times.
- The following are prohibited: cheating, collusion between teams, impersonation, plagiarism, harassment, and sharing unpublished challenge material before it is released.
- Some disciplines restrict AI tools. Participants must follow the rules for each discipline. Breaking them is misconduct.
- Arioron may disqualify a participant or team that breaks these rules, after reviewing the matter.
- Results are decided by the judges and the organising team, and their decisions are final.
8. Submissions and Intellectual Property
- Buildathon projects are submitted through Devpost. Each team owns its work.
- By submitting, a team allows Arioron to show the project in the competition and in its promotion, with the team’s name credited.
9. Awards
- Awards may include crests, certificates and potential internship opportunities. Further awards will be announced.
- No prize or award is promised until it is officially announced.
10. Photography and Recording
- Sessions may be recorded or photographed, and the material may be used to promote the competition.
- A participant who does not want to appear must tell Arioron in writing before the event.
11. Privacy
- Arioron collects personal details only to run the competition: registration, payment checks, communication, results, certificates and referral credit.
- The organising team sees personal details on a need-to-know basis. Campus Ambassadors see only whether their referrals are credited.
- Arioron does not sell personal information.
- Some participants may be under 18. Parental or guardian consent for them is to be confirmed before registration opens.
- Anyone may ask to see, correct or delete their personal information by emailing inquiry@arioron.com.
- Data is kept only as long as needed. The retention period is to be confirmed.
12. Changes and Cancellation
- Arioron may change the schedule or the rules with reasonable notice. Changes are announced on think.arioron.com and through official channels.
- Fee changes apply only to new registrations. A confirmed registration keeps the fee it was charged.
- If the competition is cancelled, confirmed registrations are refunded in full.
- Arioron is not responsible for internet or device failures outside its control, but will give reasonable support to affected participants.
13. Partners and Volunteers
- Club partners, press and news partners and volunteers must use only officially published information.
- None of them may collect or forward registration payments.
- Partnership and volunteer terms apply in addition to these policies, and are given to each partner or volunteer when their place is confirmed.
14. Governing Law
These policies are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
